GarrusVakarian Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I was seeing someone for five months. First relationship since my marriage breakup. Wife ran off with a married man 20 years old than her!. Anyway beginning of August, she calls it off after not speaking for a few days. She told me I am not a priority in her life, her new job was and she couldn't give me what I wanted. But she wouldn't say no in the future!. Not sure what that meant?. Five weeks later she still hadn't collected her stuff, I did remind her a few times. So I thought, I am going to be in town last week where she lives that day. I'll go over and drop her stuff off. She was not in. So I left her stuff in her garden. All safely bagged up and hidden. I get back home after work, find she has stuffed any items i left at her house through letter box. Then I find she has blocked me on facebook, blocked my number and wont reply to texts. Maybe the way I did it wasn't the best way, but she called it off over five weeks ago. What was I meant to do with her clothes etc?. Keep it until it suits her to collect it?. I think it was somewhat unfair to not of collected it weeks ago. So I thought Id take charge and get rid, maybe she didnt like that?. But I think her reaction was a bit over the top.
mightycpa Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Donate it to charity, send her the receipt.
lauri Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Who cares about her reaction. She broke up with you...in a way, her reaction shows you what her true intentions were with you anyways. Its better to start the NC process now than deal with more BS and have false hope.
tim_tom Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 She's mad you didn't do what she wanted/expected you to do. Sounds like it's about control
Author GarrusVakarian Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 Not quite sure what she was expecting me to do to be honest?. Keep her stuff until it suited her?. Her reaction though felt totally disproportionate though. Not like we really split up on bad terms even though it was her decision.

Priv Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Don't sweat it man. Try to keep it in perspective. She was just someone you saw for a few months. Compared to what you had to deal with earlier this is a piece of cake. And she went nutcase on you. Nothing wrong with dropping her stuff off, especially after 5 weeks.

True, Well not like I didn't tell her twice. I don't know women. Will never understand them!!!
Magnet Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Last weekend my mum dropped off a black bin bag of my ex's stuff (R of 2.5 years) off at her house as it was on my mum's way home anyway. I was only too grateful as I couldn't be bothered to make the trip myself. Was half worried I would get an angry reaction but needn't have worried. Today in work my ex made a big show of blanking me, turning her face the other way when she walked past me. Kind of funny... Lol!
