FitChick Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 ... this from a 61-year old never married man whose headline is "This should be easy" "Hoping to find someone like me to like me. They should encompass themselves easily. Eventually in a relationship it would be good to be on first name terms." 1
Gloria25 Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 He sounds hopeful...soon unfortunately, he will be disappointed...
OwMyEyeball Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 He could be making cultural references that other 60-somethings would get.
BlueIris Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) ... this from a 61-year old never married man whose headline is "This should be easy" "Hoping to find someone like me to like me. They should encompass themselves easily. Eventually in a relationship it would be good to be on first name terms." That cracked me up! especially the part about being on first name terms. Wouldn't date him, but it did crack me up. I see it as wry and ironic. To many of us old folks, the whole internet, cell phone, OLD, insta-world is freaking bizarre and kinda funny. "Ok, so I'm looking at a computer screen and placing an advertisement for romance?!?! HAHAHAHAHA! Um, ok..." Maybe it's an old OLD thing. Changed my mind. Might date him if he has a six pack. Just kidding. Lots of this stuff is quite different from the way I grew up (i.e. crazy). Edited September 14, 2014 by BlueIris
Emissary Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I think you should give it a shot, he could be rich.
Author FitChick Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 He looks like he just got off the boat. That could be the problem -- doesn't speak English. In his pic he doesn't look like he is 61 so I'm guessing it's from his passport in 1972. 1
