It's been 2 weeks and I'm strict NC. I can deal with the pain, anger and sadness but my problem is I will be fine and then I get these overwhelming anxiety attacks out of the blue, and they are so hard to handle! I won't call or break down but these random waves are all consuming. They are getting less and less frequent and shorter as well but how did you deal with these anxiety issues? I fill my day so I can't ponder, work out, mtn bike, run but I still get these random waves and completely out of the blue. Any ideas?

Funny you posted this. I experienced a good deal of anxiety today over missing my ex. I was upset and started to tear up at work. It's been a really long time since that's happened to me. I usually just cry in the privacy of my home. lol I've been BU for a little over a year and I STILL get waves of anxiety from time to time. There's no easy way through it. )= It will pass though. And you'll get them less and less. At least, that has been the case for me. Today was not the norm for me. But every time I reach the point of not caring at all, that's usually when a wave hits me. Sucks. Our bodies react to how we're feeling.

BTW, there's a "how to beat anxiety" ad in this thread. lol
