Sad Flower Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 I've thought about that same thing I'm not sure, I guess as OW we do lower our standards, I wish that when MM wanted to start dating, I should have done things the right way and said..NO! I should have said I will date you when you are divorced. Instead MM decided to take a "vacation" from the wife to date me. Knowing she'd still be around when he was done dating me and knowing he could run all over her. Now I feel like sh#t, knowing I look dumb as the OW by lowering my standards to be with MM. Now look he is back with his wife..making happy family time! As OW, we look bad, we look like the home wreckers even though alot of us women are not, alot of OW here are self respecting women who just got caught up in emotions.

newby Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 sad flower i wish that too, every day. i guess you are right lynnered it depends on the guy. my mm knew he was being bad to me i think looking back, so he would make out with little things that he said that i was willing to put up with this. this was after all the initial lies of course that he used to get me hooked! well, i think i'm in my last legs of moving on, and this is just another of those questions.
