Ailee08 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 My ex and I dated for a year and a half, he broke up with me because we fought a lot and he said I stress him out. I apologized, begged and cried over the phone asking for a second chance. But it seems confusing because he said he loves me but he can't be with me. He also said for me to call him if I have an emergency like get into an accident. He said that he wasn't going to try and find someone else (not sure if he was lying). After three days of my chasing him I decided that I was not going to contact him and give him his space. It's only been two days since I stopped calling and texting. Now two days ago I also took a pregnancy test which came out positive, I had blood work done today to make sure I was but it came out negative. Should I text him to let him know? I was debating with myself because he's probably over thinking that I am pregnant but on the other hand I don't want to come off as using that as an excuse to contact him. What should I do?
Hollywood-Tourist Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Tough one. I'd class this as an emergency though due to the nature of the 'news'. I think he needs to know because it's serious & he could resent you for it later on if you didn't tell him.

Should I text him to let him know? No, there's really no need to text him to tell him that you are NOT pregnant. It's not much different than letting him know that you did NOT get into an accident. Either he thinks/believes that you would let him know if you ARE pregnant, or his lack of interest in the matter is a different message that he is sending.
SoThatHappened Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 You're searching for a reason to contact him. It's okay, everyone does it. But, your reason isn't valid enough. You were never pregnant. No reason to tell him you got a false-positive from a home pregnancy test. You're only a couple days in NC. It's hard not to contact, but you have to remain strong. 2
