Should I ask her out right after first meeting ?

I met this sweet girl at a party at a friend's house. I was very impressed by her and we talked for a long time. The guy who was driving me home had to leave suddenly so I couldn't get the girl's number. But later I sent her a friend request on FB and she accepted it.

 

I was thinking of chatting with her on FB and asking her out for coffee or something. Does that sound too early? Or should I chat with her for more time /ask for her number before asking her out?

I think asking for her number and/or suggestion coffee sometime would be appropriate via FB message.

It's never too early. If you don't express interest soon you may get friend-zoned for nothing more than your lack of effort initially.

Ask her out. What are you waiting for?

 

The reality is, if she's going to say no to a coffee date, she will say no if you ask now, or if you ask later. No amount of meaningless chit-chat "getting to know one another" on Facebook is going to change that.

 

Waiting can only hurt you, as she realizes you're a p**** who's afraid of asking for what they want. Just suggest coffee and find a way to reference your convo at the party in the process to show you're not brain dead.
