A stupid question???

OK, I feel a bit awkward about asking such a trivial thing but through my life they never really got answered well enough for me to understand. Just as of late i read a post on a thread that pop questions back into my pea brained head. So without going into dreaded details into why i have been so socially inept with peeps out in the wilds of life, I will state that i am shy and have a touch of aspergers... so with that in mind i am quiet and seem to take yes and no very directly. Maybe, if and but are so varied that I will lean on the yes / no side from how they say something.

 

 

 

Stupid Q... What is a flirt??? or should I ask how do words being said nicely become a flirt?

 

 

So inquiring minds are put to rest, long ago while out and about with cousin and friends... I had picked up my order at the counter and returned at the table for our gathering for lunch. My cousin pointed out that the girl who served me my large shake must like me. Well i did not even think so as he said it and afterwards. I just said I get them served like that all the time and shrugged him off.

 

 

So, you can see my confusion to such matters and since i don't notice, I assume i never had been flirted with. Though I figure women would not want to,as they turn their heads or look away if I should notice them. I got in the habbit to look at peeps as objects moving about so I dont bother them into thinking ewwww he looked at me.well that be my poking fun at the idea why they seem offended.

No way to know if the girl noticed you or not since they're trained to smile at everyone at those fast food places. But if you ever want to make new friends, you have to at least notice people a little. Flirty would be singling you out from others and smiling, laughing, being extra friendly. Best bet is for you to meet someone in a classroom environment or work environment where you see them a lot and eventually they get to know you and you them.

Well, people in the service industry (i.e. waiters, baristas, cashiers) are in a position where they have to be "extra nice" to the customers.

 

In my opinion, when you are trying to figure out if someone's into you - watch how they treat others - cuz even "if" she's a waitress, if she's extra nice to you, then yes, she likes you. If she's nice to everyone, then she's just doing her job.

Surely you can look up the definition on the computer.

 

The question I think you want to ask, is, how do you know youre being flirted with?

Am I right? or do you just want a the definition of the word for some reason

I guess I'll never know what it is like. My example was 180 degrees off, as it was the only thing I could point out as noticeable.

 

Oddly enough there is one instance that I kind of remember. Had been shopping and a woman came down the isle. I quickly moved aside to get to the cereals before she cut me off. Peeps do that a lot. As she passed, I heard what sounded like a smooch sound but more like she had something caught in her teeth. The sound was odd but I went my merry way to finish my to do list.

 

I don't think I can make eye contact long enough to notice without feeling like I got caught staring. Usually, like I stated before, women will quickly turn their heads when I look around to see my surroundings. Just one of them things I do while shopping, as many meander along or rush about and end up nearly causing run into moments.

 

Well its not important any way, as I thought to ask while the notion was in my head, and thought it was best to ask when peeps don't know me.
