Is it possible to date someone who has a completely different work schedule than you?

I recently met this guy. He lives far from my hometown about 14 miles and we both don't have our own transportation. I rely on the bus to get to work and he gets to his job by train. Now I work part time 10am to 3pm and off on Wednesdays and the weekend. He is off only on Mondays and Tuesdays and he works from 1pm to 10pm. Now in order for me to get to his hometown I would have to take the train from work around trip ticket about $12 and then hop on the bus because the train would stops at the next town over so the trip in total I'm estimating would be about half an hr.

 

It could be more depending where he lives. If he would to come to visit me the train from his town would only stop at the town next to my hometown and it would take an hour. As I mentioned before he gets off at 10pm and by the time he gets to where the train stops. it would probably be around 11 maybe close to 12am and I won't be able to be able to get over there that time of the night since the buses where I live stop running after a certain time.

So meet on a Monday or Tuesday after you finish work. It really doesn't sound too far if you like each other.

This isn't that complicated. It just sounds like you both don't want to make an effort or are being lazy.

Would be different if it was 3 hours both ways. Or uphill both ways..

 

But Monday and Tuesday, you two could hangout when you're done work. He could be in your hood at 3:15 then you could hangout for the whole night...
