knight56 Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 I keep bumping in to a lady that make me think she is from the 90s. lol because she smells like a 90s woman and her hair looks like from the 90s and dress like the 90s. What is up with that?
Butterfly28 Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Some people are stuck back in time, I suppose LOL Does she wear POISON perfume? Or Friday? Or Chantilly Lace? LOL Does she still wear LEOPARD? Does she still tease her hair? Wear pointed shoes? HAHA I'm laughing as I write this....some people, I tell ya!
Author knight56 Posted March 1, 2005 Author Posted March 1, 2005 yep early 90s type of stuff. Like color like bright pink. I tell you more.

Butterfly28 Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 in the early 90's I teased my hair to kingdom-come, wore leopard, tight pants, BIG BOOTS, biker jackets, bomber jackets. I was a big "GINA" lol Now I can't even FATHOM the thought of what I wore back then LOL
brashgal Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Does she still tease her hair? This is Texas, home of the 'big hair' - not all that unusual...
morrigan Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Sounds more like the 80's. I know a woman in her early sixties who still has a beehive hairdo (not one of the towering ones). She's a very funny, interesting person. I like people who don't dress like everyone else.

You asked what gives originally, and the answer is people all have different tastes as to what they think looks good. that is the ansewr.
tiki Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 I still like tie-dye, I feather my hair and wear my Eastlands (complete with curly Q's -- no tying the laces) and use lots of hairspray to make my hair stand up real tall-like. You wouldn't date me?
Author knight56 Posted March 1, 2005 Author Posted March 1, 2005 well only if you smell very very good. lol

whichwayisup Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Well, I don't smell like sex if that's what you're asking. Knight, you ask really unique questions! Keep 'em coming... I think eventually we ALL see various people caught up in different clothes, styles, looks etc from every decade. Though big hair and blue eyeliner/eyeshadow hopefully won't come back!
Author knight56 Posted March 1, 2005 Author Posted March 1, 2005 Thank you what do you think of fashion from the late 80s and early 90s? We all thought it was cool.
laRubiaBonita Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 imagine what we think in 10 yrs about stupid big shirts that guys wear to their knees...... i hate it now!
morrigan Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 I liked grunge. Guys with long hair wearing flannel shirts and beat up jeans is fine by me.
