JM89 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) I'm interested in a guy on twitter. We live in the same town, but no mutual friends or acquaintances...I think he is single, but I'm not positive. We follow each other, favorite, and retweet several times a week, but have never really had a "twitter conversation." That seems too public, so I'd like to send a direct message to start chatting...would that be too forward? And what should I say? A greeting, introduction, flirty comment? preraph Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Does his profile show a link to any website or email or anything? What you need is his real name so you can find out if he's married. I know what. Go to his TWITTER page and see his friends. Look at the first friends way down at the bottom because if he had a wife when he joined Twitter, she'd likely be in the first few friends. Also just spend some time reading other people's tweets to him and look for ones who seem to know him and see what they say. One might say "Your wife's a really good cook" or something. Do that first.
Author JM89 Posted August 17, 2014 Author Posted August 17, 2014 I know there isn't a wife and there are no pictures or tweets about a girlfriend. I feel pretty confident that he's single. And I do know his full name and job.
DazedandConfused8 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Then just send him a direct message. And get off Twitter since you can't get to know someone 140 characters at a time.
