Smilecharmer Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Am I to understand that most single guys are interested in any girl who has a pulse? That is what it seems like from these threads. 2
Supernatural Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 She doesn't need a pulse as long as the body is still warm. Hahahah! I would say for the most part I am always turned on in some way, yes. As for being interested... In which way do you mean? 1
Tbisb74 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 All men think with their trouser-buddies. I thought that was common knowledge. They either view women as sex objects (hot body, curvy figure, big tits...) or as hideous, undesirable objects to be vilified or be made fun of. There is no middle ground. If a woman is a single mother, she is off the cards because it means kids get priority. If a woman rejects the man's advances, she has to be a prize feminist bitch, mentally unstable or a lesbian. That is basically, from a woman's perspective, LS in a nutshell. 5
Joaquin Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 (edited) I would say that most guys are fairly interested in anyone when single and drunk. Heck even I'd get up on the crack of dawn after a few drinks. It doesn't mean they have any genuine interest in the girl or a relationship. Most single guys only want relationships with girls that they really fancy or realise that she is the best they can get. Edited August 16, 2014 by Joaquin 1
Joaquin Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I have standards, depending on who'se there to see it. 1

Tbisb74 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 It's more 'generally true' than 'generally untrue'.
Tbisb74 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 4th/5th Grade, actually! I can't help it if I was an English teacher, (5 years!) until the little darlings wore me down! (What is happening to this thread? posts keep disappearing....? )
William Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Folks, let's stay focused on the topic and definitely don't engage moderation lest you be suspended. Thanks!
Author Smilecharmer Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 In all seriousness, though, I just think it is sad when guys say they can't get a gf so they go after people they aren't even interested in just to have someone. I know this isn't the norm IRL and that people sometimes say things they don't mean, but how many men actually feel they would date just anyone for real just to have someone? I don't mean sex, I mean date.
Zeurich Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 send me your resume I will check if it match with my potential mates match points. you post this because you really want an answer of just for fun?
carhill Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Am I to understand that most single guys are interested in any girl who has a pulse? That is what it seems like from these threads. In my demographic, *any* single woman got my attention simply because they were so few and far between. Yep, they all were ambulatory and apparently had a pulse. Single women disappeared so fast (like my exW did, only a few months after we filed for divorce, and over a year before we were divorced) that any normal man would miss out if he didn't at least make a marked attempt to determine compatibility. Under 'normal' conditions, meaning not jumping on anything with a pulse, in the past five years, I've met two single women my age, plus one widow and, using 'normal' parameters of attraction, there has been none so I live alone and enjoy my life with friends and my cat. 1

So is this about timing? Or, is it about not having many options? I don't know how old you are, but it seems in my area, men over thirty get snatched up quicker than women so women seem more desperate for anyone with a pulse and often settle for mediocre because of lack of options.
