Birthday gift for my boyfriend :)

Hello all you lovely people!

 

A little background: I met my LD boyfriend on a support group online, but before we decided to get into a relationship, we talked for months. It was a very dark period in my life, and he listened to me, offered me his endless, unconditional support and was a ridiculously kind voice to me. He didn't know what I looked like, and for the longest time, we didn't even know each other's names. I live in Saudi Arabia where relationships outside marriage are forbidden or even penalized. My situation was very complicated and it was unlikely that I would be able to escape my condition, but out of the blue, my family decided to visit the country where he lives without me suggesting that, and that's how we met and fell in love with each other. It was so unexpected, and for a moment I nearly started believing in fairytales. We got to spend three days together, but here were are again, miles and miles apart. I suffer from depression and have attempted suicide many times before, but he decided to stick around despite that. However, due to the fact that I live in Saudi Arabia and am surrounded by extremely conservative family and friends, I have to keep him a secret, and that hurts me so much. My boyfriend's birthday is by the end of August, and I want to show him that I want to scream and tell the whole world I love him and am completely smitten with him. I don't want to keep him a secret anymore just as hasn't kept me a secret. I want to make him as happy as he makes me.

 

This is where you guys come in. This idea is stolen from/inspired by someone else. I would really appreciate it if you guys could contribute. I want to make him a video of people recording themselves and wishing him a happy birthday from all over the world or just taking pictures of themselves and holding signs saying something nice.

 

If you want to help this gal who's smitten as a kitten, you could do one or both of these things. Feel free to be creative and write/say anything you want: something cliche, something funny (he can take even the nastiest joke), something sweet, let him know how awesome he is and how much I love him, or give him hope that the distance will soon disappear. Anything goes.

 

I will owe you my life if you help me out in making my boy happy. <3

If you really love him as you claim you do, stop attempting suicide. He will appreciate it more than wishes from people he doesn't even know.
