Why and why not? If so; how would you go about asking? Thank you All.

First of all, the fact that you never asked them out on a date until you found out they were moving implies you did it as a last ditch effort. Second, they've already told you that you're not interested. Your wanting their contact information kind of makes you look like a stalker, and seem desperate. Third, long distance relationships usually don't work. Don't defile yourself any further. Move on.
