Dork Vader Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I'm confused about this.. We are supposed to go to lunch tomorrow i asked what sounded good and she said any place we wont be seen.. I don't get it.. On one hand I understand that she doesn't want her friends finding out.. They don't like me (for unjustified reasons IMO). But that's besides the point. But on the other hand I asked my ex if that's really it are you that weak minded ? Just tell them you need to do this and you don't want to talk about it.. It does bode the question why do I need to be secret..
giblesp Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Thats why she's your ex. Best keep it that way. 1
mammasita Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 She doesn't want to be judged by her friends. If I was a betting person, I would put my money on it not ending well for you.
d0nnivain Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Best case scenario: she's not ready to tell everyone you are back together. Worst case: she never will be & is OK letting her friends run her life. 1
HappyLove Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I'd never meet with someone who was keeping me a secret. How insulting!
Mike B. Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I once played along with being a secret while dating a woman who I worked with. Before long, I realized that her cellphone always seemed to be missing in action whenever I slept over her house. One morning, I walked into the kitchen to make coffee, reached in the drawer next to the sink for a spoon and there was her cell phone. I picked it up and it was a few late in the night texts and phone calls from one of my colleagues who also worked with us and had a crush on her. Needless to say, I no longer will accept secret loving and dating coworkers.
