Jadedbyluv Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Mornings are the worst for me. I used to get morning texts every day. I started to look forward to them because they were always the bright spot to my morning when work was so stressful. Now I can't even focus in the mornings. I struggle to even find the motivation to get to work and get my day going. I hate feeling this way. It makes me so incredibly sad. I am trying to find other ways to distract myself in the morning but nothing seems to be working.
Pendragon Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 If you're able to, consider waking up an hour or so early to take a jog/run outside. That's what I do and it pumps all this adrenaline and energy into me. It helps you feel better, lets you get through the day easier, makes you more fit, and you're able to wake up to the nice fresh air! Get proper sleep too. 1
Zippy2000 Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I know how you feel. When I was with my ex for a year. She would always text me good morning texts. When she left I found it difficult and had to adjust. You do this adjustment by waking up at a different time. For example earlier. Read the net, watch the news. Stop looking on your phone in the morning. If you cant look away from your phone. Speak to a close friend and text them. When my ex left I had a friend who used to check up on me and she would say morning to me instead so I didnt feel so alone.
Elias33 Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Keep your phone off till you are at work. CHange your morning ritual entirely. Sorry you have to go through this. Others have given you great advice. Good luck.
