nightbird101 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 My relationship So 5 months ago my ex ended our 7 year relationship. My Ex thought I would remain a jobless loser (sad to say it's true and I don't blame her for Breaking up with me). How I'm Doing I'm still struggling here and there but I'm doing things I never would have done when I was in the relationship. For Starters I've taken up Hip Hop dance classes and I'm about to learn to fly Gliders. I have a decent paying job. I'm also going around and meeting new people (girls). Seriously if I see a girl on the street I'll go up and say hello (depending on the location dark ally ways is a no). I've meet some amazing people and even have a "date" with a gorgeous girl on Wednesday. I do have a thing for a girl over seas but I don't want to get to attached at the moment (because f!@#k LDR). I've gotten back into what I love doing which is creating animations for the internet. I'm currently working on an animated short for a film fest. How I'm Feeling I do feel a bit sad from time to time but nothing that really surfaces anymore. If anything I do get quite angry at my EX. I trusted her and would never have betrayed her. After the break up I do always ask myself the question 'how can I trust anyone again?'. As you can tell I'm still healing a bit but I'm doing much better. My Advice to newly BU peers Focus on you. Change who you were, prove your EX wrong. Let them come to you DON'T go to them. Talk to other girls/guys (be smart about it though). and finally my own saying "Don't wait for opportunity make opportunity"

But trust me man, I don't think having a job or doing what you're doing would have made her stay. I don't know how the breakup went down but...in general, that's just stemming from experience. Regardless, the past is the past. Leave it there, no matter how beautiful and amazing it was.... and focus on making your future better. Not for some chick. Do it for you.
