SJC2008 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Went out with some.friends, wound up at a srip club. The "attention" from women was dished out to the three of us in descening order. Not that I'm ugly but my friends are better looking in a sense that they are "cooler" looking, more conventionally attractive. Nice guys take note, it doesn't matter what you say. If a woman is attracted to you, 2+2=jello will be *fummy*. Yes, it will. Date women who think you're attractive and the majority of the battle is won already. Stop wondering what you said wrong or what you did to "blow" it, if she's attracted to you l, you can almost do no wrong! 1
Haydn Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Err, don't want quash your research but I went to the 'Spearmint Rhino' club (google it). A stag do a few years back. It appeared that if you were prepared to shell out for expensive drinks for the girls then Mr popular you would be. Being a tight fisted fella at the best of times, I sat alone most of the evening. When we left my mates were slightly horrified to discover that they had done the better part of 2 grand. Indeed they were popular for 5 hours but just ever so slightly morally and financially bankrupt. 6
ExpatInItaly Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I have two friends that were dancers (one man, one woman) Both of them have said that while of course they were more likely to gravitate to people whom they found attractive, the real draw was the money the individual was willing to shell out. Strippers are generally not a good measure of greater social rules of attraction - they're doing their job to make money. 2
d0nnivain Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I agree. IRL people will gravitate to those they find attractive. In commercial settings the Golden Rule applies -- the one with the most gold (cash) wins. 1
JungleLover Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 You can never use strippers as a measurement for judging attraction. Strippers love money. Period. Don't ever forget that. 3
Els Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 If you're at a paid strip club, I suspect your friends got more attention because they looked richer. I don't even understand why you're comparing strippers to dating. Maybe that's part of the problem? 2

If it was from the dancers, they're paid to give you attention. And they're trying to convince you to go to the VIP room where you'll dish out a few hundred more for a private dance. As for the order of attention, maybe you looked like you had more money. Has nothing to do with your looks or dating in general.

Do you really think the women in strip clubs honest like you and want to get to know you?
2sunny Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Men spend 2 grand at strip clubs? Wow, why not take a woman out on a real dat and spend a few hundred? And no - strippers aren't "attracted" to certain men at strip clubs - they are there to take as much money as they can from each man - by providing their service. Whoever keeps paying gets attention from them. 1
isisisweeping Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 When I went to a strip club with my guy friends, I got more attention than all of them. I have concluded all women really are just more attracted to other women. Sorry, men. http://www.loveshack.org/forums/images/red/smilies/lmao.gif
beach Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 They spent more in the end lol! Doesn't that prove that paying gets more attention? The money drives the amount they are willing to give. So is it safe to assume if you just observe by sitting at a table and only buy minimum drinks - that you only observe?
Ruby Slippers Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 The strippers may have targeted them because they dress in more expensive-looking clothes. I have an acquaintance who's a stripper, and she says of course you meet sexy customers, but her primary goal is extracting as much money as possible from the men. A physically unappealing regular who shells out the dough reliably will get ample attention.

The woman is her prop for producing more cash. Sorry. 1

preraph Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I have to say that the girls working at the strip club are picking guys on how likely they think they'll be to have money and throw it at them.
Author SJC2008 Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 My thoughts seen to be outside the box on this. Wouldn't a stripper be better off working the whole room to make more money? They picked who they wanted to, I was only approached for a lap dance once the whole night. They would walk past me and go to my friend so I figured it's becauae he's better looking.

Nope - body language tells them who's planning to spend. They are experts at reading who's going to open the wallet. 2
writteninreverse Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 :laugh:are you serious with this analysis? you were in a strip club, the place where $ = king. Nothing else matters, literally. Attraction will only matter to a stripper when there are two guys who have the same amount of cash.

Do you really think that strippers are there to hook up with good-looking guys? Next time try observing their responses to the old man with the Rolex and expensive suit.
todreaminblue Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 i worked in strip clubs it is common fro the girls to look at labels...shoes and the wallet the guy pulls out.......if you want a girl to sit on your lap show them the money i was the retarded stripper who went for the guy sitting alone who didnt have much money.......and stayed away from the cash because i didnt want to sit on a guys lap .....i went for the elderly men and patted their faces as i danced near them....i ended up many a time sitting next to lonely guys one guy who had lost his wife to cancer ......his wife was his life ..no friends no living family.......one guy a virgin who had a penis problem...it was bent out of shape......another guy who was a miner who only came into the city once every six months and i talked for a very long time with these types of guys.....till i was reprimanded and told to go where the money was......they notify the girls stripping .....management and the door man notify who has cash......i was often reprimanded for not following the money....time is money so if i was not dancing .....i was ignoring the cash......until i was forced to see it....they would watch me i was an excellent dancer but i often was docked pay because of refusal to get money...deb
