blackpajamas Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 So, a couple weeks ago, I decided to stop seeing the girl I was dating because she was only interested in something casual and I wanted it to progress to something serious. I told her we should stop dating if she didn't seeing going anywhere after she said she wasn't sure what she was looking for. She gave a bunch of reasons why, job status in flux, distance between us (80 minutes), etc etc. Anyways, we ended with the usual "Stay in touch!" nonsense, which to me means "we won't be talking anytime soon". Anyways, a week later I realize my blog is getting a new hit every day, and because I have visitor traffic monitored on it, I realize it's her checking in on it, once or twice a day. I brush it off, thinking she's just checking to see if I wrote anything nasty about her (I didn't), or just anything about her in general (there was and is nothing about her on it). A few days later she texts me about something that happened on one of our dates. Seemed just like simple reminiscing to me. I responded, there was small talk, that was it. What is her end game here? Is she just feeling lonely? I've been dealing with ending things with her very well considering we only dated for a short time (less than 2 months). I'm already talking to other girls and setting up casual dates. Should I ignore her if she texts again?
