I finally did and I wrote this first text message but haven't got a response yet, I was just wondering if there is something wrong with my message or it's a ok? I need some feedbacks, thanks. Hey Rose, it's Jack. Can't believe I've known you for this long, but finally got your number. We should hang out sometimes! I see her once a week, we are on the same sport team. And occasionally see her at parties, is there anything wrong with my message? Did I made a bad first impression? I believe we are friends, she invite me out a few times.

It was not the worst either. "Hey Rose, it's Jack. Can't believe I've known you for this long, but finally got your number. We should hang out sometimes!" The Can't believe I've known you for this long, but finally got your number." Basically says I've been wanting to get your phone number for a very long time and finally did!! The we should hang out sometimes.. Wait until they respond and get some conversation with them first. Then suggest hanging out sometime. Don't text her anymore wait for her to respond. She could just be busy.. If you hear nothing text her again 2-3 days.. Just send a "how's it going?"

I just thought it might be offending to her because I could of ask for her number a long time ago, but just finally get around to it. Like I said, we are friends and we've hung out before. I just never get around of getting her #, and finally did. I don't talk like I consider she's a celebrity.. Just thought I might be offending her, or that message sounds dumb or ok. Anymore response would be much appreciated!
