katiemiller Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Long story short, there is a guy that I work out with 3-4 times a week and we had always flirted. Finally he got my number and invited me out to a group outing with people from our gym. I then invited him to grab dinner and drinks about a week later. It went really well and he extended the date to another bar, then we went back to his place. We were both drink but did not have sex. The next morning, we cuddled but he didn't kiss me goodbye or anything. He's super nice, but I think he needs a little liquid courage to make a move. The last week, he has come up to me everyday at the gym and started conversation, but hasn't made an effort to make plans or anything. We also text maybe 1-2 a week to organize plans, but that's it. I am not waiting around and going out on other dates, but should I consider this a lost cause?
WrinkledForehead Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 It doesn't sound like a lost cause. Maybe he isn't getting signals from you that signal him to proceed. Have you tried asking him out?
Author katiemiller Posted August 7, 2014 Author Posted August 7, 2014 Yes, I was the one who invited him out on our last outing. I am friendly, but at the same time, I don't want to see desperate so I keep a little distance.
PegNosePete Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Why don't you say... "So our date was fun, when are you going to ask me on a second one?"
