Is this emotional abuse,do you let them back in your life?

I'm just needing someone to say stay away from this guy ,he emotionally abused me ages ago calling me empty,calling my conversation drivel etc then he'll be a really nice guy like now saying he'll always be there for me and just general big things,I had trouble letting go of him for years now the last year I've been completely free of him except now his sent repeated emails trying to contact me.

Sounds like someone who enjoys putting himself in a position of superiority over you. Winner.

Yes, that is how they keep you around. If he was mean all the time, you'd leave. If he's nice 90% of the time, and only takes out his anger and insecurity on you sometimes, you'll stay.

You have had trouble letting go of him for YEARS. And somehow you want to start that process over again?

Then continue the business of letting go.

 

He is who he is. Don't be fooled into thinking that because he is lonely and able to say some pretty words that you have longed to hear, that he is magically a different guy.

Run...run far... Delete, block and ignore. If you allow this waste of evolution to think that he can get away with his behaviour because it will get worse if he thinks that.
