Happilyhappy Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) I met a Japanese guy through a language exchange site, and I’m really interested in him. He’s always super friendly, happy, and kind. Our personalities are pretty different, he’s outgoing and an extrovert, while I’m really shy and bit of an introvert. But opposite attract don’t they? :3 I usually don’t talk much to anyone, but he’s super comfortable and easy for me to talk to, so I actually consider him my best friend. But even though he’s easy for me to talk to, I still get lost for words when we’re Skyping, and usually blush because I have no idea what to say. He calls me cute a lot, usually after I do that. He has told me that he doesn't have a girlfriend, and that he hasn’t been on date since his early 20s (he’s 27 almost 28, and I’m 22 soon to be 23) He asked about my past boyfriends, and I told him that there hasn’t been any, only a few blind dates but I ended them. We haven’t met in person yet, but he moving to Illinois in September and I live in Indiana, so we’ll only be a 2 hours drive apart, and He wants to meet in person. Because I’m really shy, I don’t know how to be "smooth" xD, I'm honestly planing on just being kind of blunt when telling him, but does anyone got any advice? Edited August 5, 2014 by Happilyhappy
d0nnivain Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Wait until you actually meet in person Then you will be able to communicate it non-verbally.
