aphroditescupid Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Does it mean a guy is interested in you when he says (so that you can hear) to his friends that he is single and always emphasizes that as well as other things that he does in his personal life that relates to me? This guy sometimes directly talks to me, but is usually more talkative when his friends are around and I am within earshot. We have been subtle flirting for awhile but he has yet to make a move. I am also the not very talkative type, but I have been flirting back. Is he getting mixed messages? Or is he just not man enough to ask me out directly? What's going on inside his mind?

todreaminblue Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) i have a problem with guys who wont step up ...i have to wonder if they are a merely a boy in mens clothing or a real man who stands up for what he wants and what he believes in......i have asked guys or let them know when i like them even though i loathe it ......scares me ...its a risk i take..i rarely feel something deeper than friendship for men at the heart of me and when i do i move pretty qucikly .....nervous but confident enough i make the steps...........if a guy really likes me and never steps up i have to wonder how sincere that really wanting to know me is...if i can do it as a shy hearted woman ....a guy should have no problem asking either...i would respect that man....and i do respect guys who ask me out more likely to say yes if i know they are nervous about it....shows guts..more so a true sincerity to know me better....deb Edited August 5, 2014 by todreaminblue
