Midwest Wtiter Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I remember being on here almost a year ago and feeling like a total mess. I'm reading all these stories of the brokenhearted and remember feeling the say way: hopeless, depressed and miserable. Well it's one year later and the no. 1 thing I can say is "NO CONTACT." After that it's "leave yourself open to love again." In two week I'll be marrying a man I met soon after. End up the person I was miserable over couldn't hold a candle to this man. Sometimes it takes a breakup to realize the faults people have. I just putting this out there as a message of hope. Cry, be miserable, post here but you know, there are others out there who might be truly wonderful. If you had told me one year ago, while in the midst of despair that I would find true love, I would have thought you were nuts. 5
STM206 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Congratulations. I guess it's true when they say the only way you really get over someone is when you find someone else. If you don't mind my asking, how long were you with the ex?
