Asking a girl if she's single without her knowing that I like her

i dont preraph about beign sorely mistaken.....I know when i date a guy it is actually in my mind that i want to know him and be with him long term...when i have deviated from this its when i am mistaken..i dont consider dating heaps of different guys fun....i prefer to think of a relationship as being more fulfilling..my ultimate goal is to date just on man........i have fun on dates though....i prefer to know the guy first before i have fun....thats why i often date guys who are my friends first and we actually do skip dating...and are more or less exclusive from the get go.........deb

 

This does make sense though. If I don't know them well enough, then it's just like dating a stranger and that doesn't sound appealing to me. I get to know them just enough and then I'll see if she's worth dating.

that is a good plan, IF she is single. but you're wasting time with someone you don't know for sure is available. get that key piece of info. first and then take the time you need to decide if she's date-worthy. but you're actually wasting time by not asking a direct question. just ask a leading question, get your answer and move on.

if you like this girl but your afraid she'll turn around and reject you because she's in another relationship you could just simply say "So Who's the lucky guy?"

 

The first and common response will be "lucky guy?". If she does say that simply say "you know...boy friend". This is where things can go 2 ways

 

A- she tells you she has someone.

 

B- she tells you she doesn't have someone.

 

From here just say what comes naturally. I must say this though Talk slowly. Slow down. SLOW DOWN. I ask this all the time and it tends to catch girls by surprise since that one sentence tells them I like them and I have the confidence to ask.

 

There are other ways but I find this works best for me. Use this as a rough guide and good luck
