A girl that I dated briefly a few years ago started contacting me again all of a sudden about 2 months ago. She broke things off back then because she said that when she really likes someone she usually runs. That usually happens when I start having feelings for someone. I am 34 and she is 41. She has 4 kids. She contacted me and we texted/facebooked back and forth for about 2 weeks. We then met out and ended back at my place and had sex. We would text back and forth after, but she started showing signs of running again. It would take her days to resond to messages and even broke plans once. Then I just laid everything out on the line instead of holding my intentions back. I told her that I noticed she was running again. I told her that I am interested in her, and that I wouldn't try to be a father to her children, but would treat then as my own. She didn't acknowledge that text and it took her a week to respond. About 2 weeks ago she started texting me a lot more. She said that she was going to make an attempt to see me more. Since then, we've gone on a date and have plans to go to a concert and a wedding within the next few weeks. I know it may be too early to tell, but it seems that she is slowly breaking out of her shell. I guess only time will tell...
