Newtothis2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I was with my ex for 4.5 years. Broke up in November but I discovered he had been cheating and initiated NC since January. Since then he has tried contact a few times but seems really happy with his new love, which is frustrating but whatever. I have been moving on with my life (slowly but surely) we were in a Gay relationship but I am bisexual. My ex recently must've discovered that I have been seeing women as he made a public post about me "ex boyfriend is now sleeping with women, whatever makes him happy haha" - the post had been made public. A friend of mine saw the post and told me. The comments on the post were him, his new lover and his friends discussing my love life since him. Bizarre. It's made me feel strange since. For a few days I was thrilled, like I had won but now I am beginning to feel sad. I wish I could be left alone. I had dreams last night about the relationship and have woken up feeling miserable. 1
Ordinaryday Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 he wants to get a reaction out of you. and you know what hurts the most for people like that? doing absolutely nothing. not giving them the reaction they wanted - IT KILLS THEM because they dont know whether you saw it or not, whether you are deliberately ignoring them or just didnt see it, whether it means you are over them or not, and so on. DON'T give him a reaction. DON'T mention it to any mutual friends. just move on. if any mutual friend mentions him or the post simply respond with "hey Id prefer not to talk about old boyfriends, thanks" and let it be. 8

That DESTORYS THEM. Not even as much as a flicker of reaction. Not even a firing of a neuron from your optic nerve, that's nagasaki and hiroshima combined lol. If you can combine the indifference of not reacting with the happiness of living out your goals, you win my default even if you're not in the race. "Live well, it's the best revenge." 1
d0nnivain Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 He looks petty . . . like he's not over you. He didn't lie or say anything mean. Take the high road & ignore him. The more he comments about you, the more childish he looks. 2

SO which one feels better.. Male or female HAHA PS. don't worry about what your ex says...It clearly bothers him that's why he is posting things like that and making it public. Don't fall for the trap. He needs to try harder, this is some sh*t ex's used to do when AIM messenger was popular back in 2000. 1
