georgecostanza Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I've just received a message from a former female work colleague's husband saying "****ing cheeky **** ****ing smash you." She left my work around 3 months ago. We had a friendly, but not flirty relationship, and I didn't know her that well. Nothing ever happened. After she left she added me on facebook and sent me a lot of messages. Some of them I ignored, some of them were just polite chit-chat. I've read back through them all, there's nothing I've written to her that I'd construe as flirty or misleading. In fact, I mention that I'm seeing someone and that I'm pretty smitten with the girl I'm seeing. A couple of her messages could be construed as slightly flirty but I've ignored any of that or actually expressed doubts about how appropriate it is. Anyway, I've blocked him from seeing my facebook altogether, and sent her a message explaining that I'm deleting her and I shouldn't be involved in this. Once I can see she's read that I'm going to block her as well. Right course of action? I'm really annoyed by this
Author georgecostanza Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 I just realised the hyphen in my title made it look like my former colleague is a former-female, this isn't the case, although I have nothing against former-females! 3
pteromom Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Yes, I think you are handling it correctly. I would also keep your eyes open in case he is a psycho and looks up where you live or shows up at your work. 1
Smilecharmer Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Maybe she had a crush on you and she told him she loves you or something equally bizarro. You never know what people say to,their spouses if they want to make them jealous or are trying to hurt them which is completely psycho. Be careful, George. This sounds ominous.
frustr8ed Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 It's a take on a copypasta, wouldn't worry too much about it. You're being trolled.
