FoolishMan Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Part of the problem I have with my friend (with no benefits) is that I always reply to her messages as soon as I discover them. She replies most of the time but there are instances that she chooses not to reply to me. That is her prerogative as sometimes she may not want too etc.. I, on the other hand will never leave a message sent to me hanging as it just feels rude. If I now decided to take longer to reply to messages as I feel it is a route to placing distance in a relationship, would you deem it as playing a silly game? It is a weird question I suppose but although it feels like a game ... it seems to me like a route forward that will help me.

Author FoolishMan Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 If you mean why am I not settling for a straight forward friendship ... I wish I could but I cannot right now. Feelings for her getting in the way.

Author FoolishMan Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 She knows how I feel but just carries on as if I didn't tell her. Bottom line is although my brain wants to move on, my heart cannot. Lookimg at a slow climb down. Therefore seeking ways to walk off without having to explain myself.
