Me and the ex broke up about a year ago. Withing that year we have had are arguments and have hooked up several times. But in the process the feelings I once had for her are gone and I'm just wanting to be friends. I have probably made things awkward before because I have tried making things work out again and over stepped boundaries but nothing crazy I just would ask of there is any chance we could work things out but she never wanted it. The only reason I want to make it where we can hang out is because of all the mutual friends in common and are best friend is the same person plus we use to be friends before we started dating. About three months ago I tried meeting up with her but when we made plans we both couldn't find time. I'm being blamed for why she can't hang out with our best friend cause I'm always around but I've told him that he could hang out with her whenever. My main question is should I tell her thats all I want now or is it pointless. If yes then how

No you shouldn't say anything. You can't let yourself feel guilty for her restraining herself.

Be cordial if you happen to see her, but let her live her own life. If your friends know there is no issue then it's on her to make the effort to see them.
