MassiveAtom Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 [imagine a radio announcer having had a little too much caffeine] Goooooooood Morniiiing LoveShack. DOT! O. R. G. We'll start off this set with the one of my all time favorites, a request from the Separation and Divorce forum, here's Don Henley with "Heart of the Matter"

Hoobastank~ Reason (a little sad) Usher~ Confessions OR Hell Yeah Nine inch nails~ F*ck you like an animal OR Head like a hole Green Day~ I walk alone I like something that gets my blood flowing..
Lebowski Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 If you want some music to embrace the pain, not ignore it, then go to itunes and search for these groups: Death cab for cutie (A lack of color) Alexi Murdoch (Orange sky) Keane (We might as well be strangers) Go to their their top artist downloads and pick and choose your favorites. Each of these artists have a bunch of good songs. I just listed some favorites. For your own good, please check these out if you haven't already. I only listened to hip hop until the breakup sent me searching for something different. I'm back to listening to hip hop but they helped me a lot. They really are great!
Afool4him Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I like songs that make me sing to the top of my lungs like I am talking to my ex!!: NO MORE DRAMA (MARY J. BLIGE) KARMA (ALICIA KEYS) BURN ( USHER) If I think of more I'll be sure to check back!
LucreziaBorgia Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 If I'm in a black depressed mood, and want to perpetuate it I'll listen to the Silent Hill soundtracks. Specifically "Cradle of Forest", "Room of Angel", "Music Box" or "Rain of Brass Petals (Three Voices edit). If I want a pickup out of that mood, I'll play one of several songs in my 'happy' mp3 folder - the one that always, always picks me up is a video/song for "Move Your Feet" by JuniorSenior. The video is so cute (old school pixel art like old video arcade games) and the music is bouncy.
datdarkman Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Here are some of my favs: Denise Williams~Silly Usher~Burn (great song) George Michaels~Kissing A Fool Brian Mcknight~One Last Cry Aretha Franklin~Hurts Like Hell Better Days~Janet Jackson Luther Vandross~Don't Want To Be A Fool Madonna~Take A Bow

I hate sadness. It just saps your strength and your will to live. Anger feels SO much better.
