Brigid Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I'm currently reading Silas Marner by George Eliot and I'm enjoying it so far. What are you reading right now? Read "Dark Places" by Gillian Flynn it's amazing. I've read all her books and although "Gone Girl" is my favorite this one was pretty intense. Also, read "Before I Go to Sleep" by S.J. Watson before the movie comes out. Very edgy and creepy good. 2

Smilecharmer Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I'm currently reading Silas Marner by George Eliot and I'm enjoying it so far. What are you reading right now? I just read Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South and Wives and Daughters again. I loved George Eliot's Middlemarch too. I also read A Take of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. I reread Hickman's and Weis' The Dragonlance Chronicles and Peter Straub's A Dark Matter. I just love his books. My favorite non-fiction titles this summer so far have been Laura Hillebrand's Unbroken and Elephant Company by Vickie Croke. 2
thekid36 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I am reading The Library of America edition of Robert Frost and just finished reading the short play "A Way Out". It is definitely one of the most astounding and profound things I have ever read. Also reading Deborah's Discovery by Fredrica Alleyn. Very vivid erotica! 1
Smilecharmer Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Thanks for starting this thread. I've found several suggestions here on Goodreads and am buying them. Some I had never heard of before. 1

Brigid Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I just took out "Still Missing" by Chevy Stevens. The writing is a bit hackish but I'm going to read it anyway. 1
