My daughter had a allergic reaction to eggs today and according to my ex her face puffed up and was taken to the er . Everything is fine but i still want to check in with her about our daughter but everytime we text anxiety hits me like a big brick in the chest

How old is your daughter? If not old enough to have her own phone I think you should contact your ex just to see how she is doing. Don't bring up anything other than your kid!!
