I've had dates where we've been too busy to fit a proper date in and because we didn't want to wait too long to see one another again we'd meet for 45 minutes for coffee before work. It's not as nice as an open-ended date on an evening that can last until you both want it to end, but it's still better than nothing. And I guess it shows that you both do really want to meet if you're both willing to get up extra early to meet up briefly!

Usually those dates happened in the early stages before intimacy. We'd be out all night & close down the bar. Go home separately then meet back up for some hangover cure food.
StumpyNB Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I went out on a breakfast date with somebody once as a first date. It seemed a little weird, but she worked nights, and I was hungry, so why not. That was a year and a half ago. Still together.
