Just wondering if any of you guys have tried self defence before?

 

At 35 I've never been in any really bad situations, but there have been times in life when I've thought I may need to defend myself. Lately I've been doing lots of cycling, a few sit ups and push ups etc... I really want to develop my strength and tone my body, I'm reasonably fit and I'm an ideal weight.

 

I'd just like to feel like if I absolutely 'had' to, that I could hold my own if needs must sometime.

 

I think it could be a real confidence boost, but I've never ever been to such a class. Just would like to hear people's experiences if anyone's tried out self defence classes.
