sweetpea01 Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I have a girl friend who has gotten back with a guy who cheated on her in the past. The cheating was quite a while back, so they have come a long way. The other day, her bf was checking his email, and left it open. My friend sees an email from a girl, and reads it. Apparently, it was a forward from one of the girls he cheated with. She confronted him and he said that this girl emails, but he never responds. I guess he showed her all his mail, and he hadnt responded or written - he was just on this girls mass email list. Well, that would make ME really mad, anyway. So....my friend decides to email this girl to tell her to stop emailing her bf. She forwarded it to me...it was very nice and everything...but I was amazed she even wanted to know this girl's name...much less her email address! Apparently, the girl replies saying she is sooo sorry, she had no idea he ever had a gf. Was my friend out of line? She said she feels closure...but I thought the whole situation was kinda icky... Or, is this normal? Sweetpea
Pendawn Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I find it a bit off. IMO it should have been the guy's apcle to email his ex and say don't email me anymore. i hate all this girl on girl "keep away from my man" stuff because it acts like the man has no say/brain in the matter. If he's not responded to the girl, and she's only sending him forwards/jokes i honestly don't see a big issue, as long as he is open about it.
