Lipitor11 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 (edited) Usually when I go to work in the mornings there's this security guard that sits in the front desk, everybody has to badge in and walk past security. I usually say, "Good Morning" to that same security guard, which is common, I think every says that when they come in. Anyway, today, I said the usual, "morning" to him and he said, "Oh, you always walk by so quietly." I told him, yeah, that's how it is. Then he said, "You need to talk to me, because I'm bored sitting here." I'm like ok....odd. I'm not going to come in before work and stand there to talk to you for 15 minutes before my shift starts. And this is like an area where everyone is required to enter in the front entrance and the security's desk is right in front and then everyone has to scan in through another door, walk down a hallway to get to their department, desk. Unless, security was sitting near the area where I'm at, I don't mind small talk. And I also doubt he wants to talk to everyone, I don't know maybe its because I always come in early and everyone else comes in a few minutes later than me, he wouldn't have stopped me. mrs rubble Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Is there lingering eye contact? The security gaurd at my local liquour shop used to give me the most blatant stares it felt like his eyes were literally burning through me! Eventually he asked me out. I declined then felt awkard/uncomfortable every time I went there afterwards.
