sportygirl89 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I will be pulling back on hours for school. He's been broken up a couple of weeks with his girlfriend. I noticed it started to fizzle out in January with them. I guess one or the other finally ended it. He would always compliment me (and actually noticed that I lost weight, what guy notices that on a daily basis??). I invited him to hang out with friends this week. How do I tell him I like him?

Not sure if you need to tell him. Open communication is the cornerstone to any relationship. Yet, you are not even at that point yet. This sounds more like an initial spark. You have already invited him to hang out. This in itself suggests interest. My thought would be just to see how it all transpires and go from there.
babycakees Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Wait it out for a little bit. This guy just got out of a relationship. The worst thing you can do is be the rebound.
d0nnivain Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 You don't TELL him you like him. You flirt with him. He'll get the message. the whole announcement thing never works.
truth_seeker Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Smart Way: You flirt with him. Stupid Way: Flash your t-ts in his face and say - "Like these?!" 1
Author sportygirl89 Posted July 15, 2014 Author Posted July 15, 2014 Smart Way: You flirt with him. Stupid Way: Flash your t-ts in his face and say - "Like these?!" I'm horrible at flirting lol. I haven't flirted in so long. Not since the ex walked out on me when I was sick.
d0nnivain Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 then it's time to polish up your flirting skills. Start with a warm smile. Laugh at his jokes. Stay close to him .. not glued at the hip but a few inches closer than you would a friend. Lean toward him when you speak to him. Whisper so he has to lean closer to you. Touch him. Toss your hair. Wink at him, if appropriate. Wear something made from a touchable soft fabric.

Hopefully you know for sure that he's broken up. Telling him that you like him should be easy, if he's as nice a guy as you painted him to be. Good luck
Author sportygirl89 Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 He definitely is. He made a comment about wanting to move (which everyone wants to after a break up, I know I did--put in applications to other schools). I figured this outing could be fun for him. He always seems to be really happy around me. I can always make him laugh. He was kinda down at work the other day. But I was able to make him laugh a bit. So I'm fully aware to take this slow. But at the same time he's such a good guy he won't be single forever. So I know if I don't at least try now I'd lose this chance. His phone is broken (and he's waiting for a replacement so he only has his house phone). So I hate waiting. He told me he would call and it's killing me. I haven't had butterflies like this in a while!
Author sportygirl89 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Guy still hasn't called . I knew thus is too good to be true
