For things which bother,like there was this one mail which was the mail which proved she was cheating to me gave me lot of pain to read it so one day i read that mail again and again till i could memorise it.Every time i would read it i would be hurt and it would pain but i did that again and again to me till i became blunt and now since i have memorised it i can recall it but it does not hurts me i have become immune to it..sometimes too much of pain becomes the pain-killer.I did that cause i knew i could not delete it so why not to make myself immune to it. So think a bit more and you can devise a suitable way to handle them. Good Luck

I think throwing them out is the wrong thing to do. I put all my things I got from my EX in a little box and put in the back of my truck. I still actually have a little stuffed animal in my bedroom from her and I won't be throwing it away anytime soon. The reason I kept these things is that someday when I finally finish moving on I WILL want to read some of the cards or looks at some of the pictures of us and if I tear and rip them up now I will regret it in the long run.
Foolish Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 My boyfriend and I, of two years, had a very good break up... we left eachother knowing it was the right thing to do and still wanted to remain in touch and friends even though i was moving interstate. At that time I gave all of the "stuff" to him. I told him that I will get it back off him some day but not right now. So he is happily looking after it all for me... including photos, stuffed toys, letters... everything. maybe you could consider doing this but maybe giving it all to a good friend..?
