In summary... I went on a couple of dates with a guy, we hit it off really well.

Best connection/most spark I've ever felt on a date! He also said the same.

He initiated the first two dates. I could of possibly shown a bit more interest on the second than I did eg, he was more touchy than me. I initiated the third and he said he would definitely let me know when he's free because it's a busy time for him as he's been away and had work commitments. (Which are all true I've seen on FB.)

Haven't heard from him and it's been 3 weeks.

I'm normally against putting myself out there as I know if a guy is interested, he will make it happen. Plus it's annoying to bug someone if they are not interested. But I'm worried if I don't ask again i might miss out on something that could be awesome.

Thoughts? Should I just let it be or try again...

Well you let him know you'd like to catch up again. I wouldn't ask again, if he likes you enough he will and probably should of asked you out again by now. Perhaps he found someone else?

I once dated a guy I wasn't really sure on and I never initiated dates, texts or anything and he kept pursuing even though I didn't show much interest. That showed he truly liked me.. you've let him know you want to go out again so there's not much more you can do.

You can let things happen to you or you can try to make things happen for you.

In dating, most men operate under this paradigm. Most women don't.
