rocketman122 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 so if a girl you are interested in starts texting you, what should you be texting back, that doesnt make you look needy or clingy? you dont want to replay all th eitme right away but you dont want to always ignore her to do you just make it short or do you text like you are in a actual conversation???? I have no issue replying right away. its not clingy/needy, its called common courtesy. in fact if a women constantly took more than a 2-3 hours to get back to my sms, 2-3 times and I see the picture. thats playing games and I have zero tolerance. I have enough options, I dont have time for that crap. im working, in a meeting, cant answer because of work is a decent excuse, but only partly. I shoot weddings that are very time constrained and stressful, and I can still find the time to type "hi sweetheart, busy, soon will reply" so I dont buy any excuse. its all stupid calculated mind games. usually those who think twice about how much times passed before reply are the ones who know nothing about dating and have low confidence. in fact every woman I was with appreciated that I was prompt and gave her attention. 2
Thegreatestthing Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I reply right away I have before specifically waited for no reason but now I just do whatever I want, much healthier open natural relationship that way ,if you gain someone's love by playing games you have to keep playing those games to keep them so I just say and reply whenever I want and leave it at that. But I do think it's necessary to take breaks from texting otherwise you get sick of each other but when I hardly know 1
Diezel Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 You should be texting back, "Hey, I'm pretty busy right now but why don't we go out on XXX day and get a drink?" 1
d0nnivain Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Having a conversation via text is annoying & ineffective. Texts should be for short messages: Good morning; Have a Nice Day; pick up milk; etc. I like Diezels' suggestion of moving it from text to something else as fast as possible.
