wishIcouldbanangel Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Who pays for flowers at a wedding? My fiance and I are trying to deal with our parents arguing about who is responsible. Should we just pay for it even though we have pretty much no money?

Artifact Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 If the two families are arguing, it's probably best to find a way to pay for them yourselves. You don't want to have a heated wedding day. Maybe you and your fiance can find a discount flower place and put some things together yourselves to save a little cash. Although, if you can find an etiquette book and know that an answer in ink will settle it, by all means, do it!
lohrewok Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Traditionally the brides parents pay for everything. However, not too many people do it that way anymore. Maybe you should scale down your plans to what you two can afford then you can tell everyone else to go to hell.
