scooby-philly Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Hey I work in a very large building, for a very, very large company. There's a woman who sits near me - but we're in totally different departments. I'm 33 and I'm guessing - maybe hoping, she's like 25-27. She's very attractive to me - I make it a point to say hi every time I see her now. Occassionally we'll bump into each other on our floor's coffee/break room. I'd like to gauge her interest - and availability. I figure on just introducing myself and saying "we haven't met yet" - and then seeing if she responds positively to a few follow up questions - like "so what do you do"/ how long have you been here... If you were a woman - would that be a proper way to go about it? She smiles when she sees me - as I do her - so I think this might be a good way to see what happens.
d0nnivain Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 In the office coffee room just say Hi my name is Scooby-Philly and extend your hand for a shake. 1
Diezel Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 What is your company's policy on dating in the office? And how serious are they about sexual harassment?

It's completely innocent and the same thing you would do to meet a guy at your workplace. So no harm done whether she is interested or not. 1
Versacehottie Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I can't think of a better way than the one you described. That would work for me. Good luck
Author scooby-philly Posted July 14, 2014 Author Posted July 14, 2014 Thanks for the affirmation. It sounded good to me, but getting affirmation only helps. Hopefully get a chance to run into her this week.
