rdons1 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Yesterday was her birthday and I had no desire to text her wishing her a happy birthday. We broke up about 2 months ago and have been no contact for 1 month. She texted me late at night saying "thanks lol" I knew who it was but just said "who is this" anyway and she replied with "thanks for say happy birthday" and I just ignored it. I just think its funny how dumpers just expect you to remain obsessed with them and continue to do things like wish them happy birthdays and once you move on they freak out. 2

Zahara Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 It gives her a huge ego boost to have you chase her. Now that you're not chasing, she's perturbed by it and trying to provoke an emotional response from you. Like tugging at the leash to see if you're still there. Ignore her.
martaldn Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I knew who it was but just said "who is this" well done!!! this is something I really want to do IF he would contact me again one day! :lmao:
Ordinaryday Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 well done!!! this is something I really want to do IF he would contact me again one day! :lmao: no it is a bad idea cos the dumper may take it literally! I once did the "who is this?" response to a breadcrumb and they texted back with "haha so funny you cant remember me! we dated for awhile a few years ago! :)" the sarcasm went straight over her head, wont try that again.
