If you do not need any answers or closure, and do not want to be "friends", then just let her know that. Last communication and contact could be a life lesson for her. Take the high road and just say you are on a new path in life and you appreciate the "friend offer", however.... To answer the original question: Most likely her other relationship did not work out and she is looking for someone to be with friends or more. You are on the list and thinks it is OK to contact you.
