what age do men think marriage?

Hi =) I have a question for any guys out there who have any opinions on this. I was wondering at around what age do you think most guys start thinking about marriage? Also, what if almost all of your male friends have live-in girlfriends and are very domesticated? Does this make you want to have a commited reltaionship as well or does it not really factor in? Thanks for any replies.

Age is going to vary by guy. Most guys think about marriage based on their age, or if they get bowled over by some girl, shotgun wedding. Basically when they feel they have to. (me excluded of course)

 

If they are affected by their friends situations it's because they are similar to their friends in many ways, a common bonding point for friendships. If someone is bothered by their friends situations, they either get new ones or try to break up the relationships.

It probably depends what else is going on in their lives. If they are going to school to be a brain surgeon or something like that they might be more inclined to wait until they are older. But I don't think you can really put out a generic answer on this question. Some guys are probably ready to get married at 20 and others still aren't ready at 40.

From my experiences and observations, it's not about when the guy is ready for marriage. It's really about how cunning the girl is in her advances and how soon the guy just has enough of it and gives in. Not always the case of course, but usually. I almost fell for it once.

 

I suppose guys whose friends are all married probably would be more likely to want to get married. There's lots of guys I used to be friends with who got married and that was the last I saw of them. Now they just socialize with other couples. I guess I would say yes, domesticated friends is likely to have an influence on guys.
