keyanasmommy Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Hey everyone I'm in a situation were I'm losing all my friends. It has to do with my ex and I remaining friends. Anyway my ex and I was together a year and 3 months and it was the worst relationship of my life! We couldn't get along we was constantly fighting. We rushed things really fast. We started talking for about 2 weeks then he spent the night and we had sex then we dated a month and he moved in. We didn't take the time to know each other at all. We broke up a month ago and hes dating someone new but he still wants me in his life. He said he didn't wanna lose me out of his life. He said he wanted us to be friends and hangout and just have fun and get to know each other better and then get back in a relationship together instead of rushing things like we did before. He said I was really the only person he had that he could hangout with and stuff. He said he spends more time with me then he does with his girlfriend. He even said he didnt care if his girlfriend found out about us hanging out. She does watch my Facebook to see what I post on there for whatever reason. He said that he was only with her because he was affriad of being alone. He's helping me better mine and my daughters life. He paid for me to go to college. And he's been there for me more then anyone. Right now our bond that we have together is so strong its so hard to explain. We get along great and it feels like we never even broke up. We are both happier then ever and we both still love each other I guess that's why we are still hanging on. He's not using me for anything at all or playing with my feelings we have planed at road trip together For next weekend. But my friends are ditching me one by one because him and I are still friends. The feeling is amazing . but I'm losing all my friends. Should I end the friendship with him in order to keep my friends?
d0nnivain Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I don't think being friends with an EX soon after the breakup is advisable or possible. You seem to be doing it so . . . Why can't you have your friends & him? When your friends ditch you what do they say? If it's that they don't want to be around him or hear about him, shut up & keep them apart. What's so hard about that? Another point though -- when 1 friend doesn't like your BF, it's a personality clash. When they all date him, it's time to re-evaluate the relationship because they are seeing something negative that you are ignoring.

Would you like him to have a close female friend like you if the tables were turned? You want a man who is dating another woman simply because he doesn't want to be alone but isn't with you? If your bond is SO strong why is he sleeping with another woman? I'm sorry honey, This is a cluster f*&k waiting to happen. 1

They tell me to chose between him or them. all my friends has only met him 4 or 5 tomes the whole time we was together. My family absolutley loves him and my mom if she knows hes up to no good then she tells me. But she absolutley loves him. My friends on the other hand has always seen me single and depressed until i met him.
