DannyG6 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I literally googled dating advice forums and have just signed up for this one. This is a long read but I'd be really grateful if you bear with me and gave me some advice, I'm going mad here! So there's this guy who was in one of my classes at college. (High school I guess for you Americans) and throughout the WHOLE year I'd always catch him checking me out, it kind of became something I'd look forward to for the confidence boost etc. But to be honest back then I wasn't really interested, and we only spoke a couple of times back then. But about a month ago, when I first came back for summer. We were outside this club and he asked some girl to come over to talk to me (he's really shy) and we ended up talking for most of the night, and he was just saying the nicest things and I really enjoyed talking to him (and he'd gotten really good looking!) so basically we ended up making out by the end of the night. And the same thing's happened a couple of times since. We kept texting and calling but I never knew where it was going. When I thought it had fizzled out he texts me on my birthday and we start talking again. Then I saw him on Saturday night when we were out but we barely spoke, I think it's because we're both pretty socially awkward. I wanted to go over and talk to him but his friends were always there. And what was worse he kept trying to call me that night but my phone had died, and now we've not spoken since. I'm not usually this much of a hot mess with men, I'm so scared of rejection so I usually let guys initiate stuff with me. But right now it's not happening because I think he's exactly the same. God I commend you if you actually read this essay, and I feel like a loser right now. But any advice would be appreciated.
Zahara Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 So when you found out that he was trying to call you (phone dead), did you call him back?
Author DannyG6 Posted July 9, 2014 Author Posted July 9, 2014 I did on that night. But it was really late, and I was pretty drunk obviously. So I don't know what I should do now, if anything...
d0nnivain Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 If you have had your tongue in his mouth, you should have no problem walking over & saying hello even when he's with his friends. Try it next time you see him.
