guest569 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I got upset when kissing my date too, from thinking of my ex. However i met another guy the next day and we ended up in a relationship for a couple of months and i was very happy. Sometimes we think we are ready when we are not and there's not much we can do about it. Our emotions play tricks on us or we convince ourselves that we are healed.
smackie9 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 That could equally be said about singles bars, or any other medium where people get together. If someone asks you on a date in real life then you expect them to be ready and interested in dating you. Yet the thing you are once again missing out is that the people in that bar are exactly the SAME people who are on the dating site. Being online does not make them any less ready to date! There is one difference.....the internet is 99% more accessable which means a larger % that with abuse what would be a useful dating tool for honest people. It's easier to take advantage of innocent dater's on the net than in a single's bar where you have use of your other 5 senses being there in person.
PegNosePete Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Yes I won't deny that is true. The empty vessels are no more common on the internet than in real life, but it's a lot easier for them to make a lot more noise online. But then delete and block are a lot easier online, too
