Ara-bella Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I broke up with him 3 months ago after a 5 month relationship because he stopped respecting me and acted cold and distant. I was fine with the idea of us never acknowledging each other again. I deleted him from Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, etc But yesterday, he very unexpectedly messaged me on Facebook a long apology, saying I had every right to hate him, but he'd like to be friends. Being civil and pretty much over it, I said I was cool with being friends. He then goes on to say his family still talks about me ("I'm the prettiest gf he's ever had"), he's complimenting me saying I'm beautiful or whatever, and he asked me to hang out that same day I said goodnight and goodbye but then he said he would message me in the morning. It's like he's trying to get this going again. Could it be that he's just lonely with a lack of options now? Any input on what his intentions might be, or has anyone been through anything similar?
